American Mahjong in Palm Springs & the Desert Cities

The Mrs Mahjong Team

Corporate retreats, resort events and private parties, hosted by Mrs Mahjong.

The Mrs Mahjong Team

Mahjong, brought to you

Mrs Mahjong brings modern American Mahjong to Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, Indian Wells and across the Coachella Valley. We arrive with everything: tiles, racks, mats, current-year cards and a team of instructors, and set up wherever your group is staying. Your guests don’t need to have played before. Most are playing full games by the end of their first lesson.

Corporate retreats & team-building

Mahjong is the team-building activity nobody realizes is team-building. Phones go down, tables start talking, and colleagues who barely knew each other are strategizing together within the hour. It’s social, a little competitive and genuinely fun, so it builds connection precisely because it doesn’t feel like an exercise.

We’ve hosted a 70-guest Mahjong evening at a Palm Springs resort, running beginner lessons, guided play and an exhibition table side by side so every guest found their level.

What sets us apart:

  • One dedicated instructor for every table of eight guests

  • Beginners and experienced players welcomed in the same event

  • All equipment, setup and strike handled by our team

  • Discreet, professional service for private and high-profile groups

Private parties & celebrations

Birthdays, bachelorette weekends, girls’ trips, family reunions and second-home gatherings. We come to your rental, resort or home, teach the group and keep the games going. Just add cocktails.

Meet your host

Mrs Mahjong is led by Brenna Gibbs, an American Mahjong instructor based in Southern California. Before Mahjong, Brenna spent two decades in corporate communications for global technology companies, so she knows what a well-run corporate event looks like from the planner’s side. She leads a trained team of instructors under one brand, which means a group of 10 or 100 gets the same polished experience.
